How firm is the Model 04 Sofa Bed to sit on?

The Model 04 is on the firmer side as a sofa. As a bed, it is well regarded for comfort.

Which fabrics work best on the Model 04 if I have pets?

No fabric is fully pet-proof. Velvet and boucle attract pet hair. Chenille and linen are easier to clean. Faux leather is the most resistant to scratches and pet hair. We recommend ordering swatches before deciding.

Is the Model 04 Sofa Bed available in a 2-seater version?

No - the Model 04 sofa bed is 3-seater only.

How does the Model 04 Sofa Bed mechanism work?

The Model 04 arrives flat-packed in two boxes and is designed for self-assembly. The backrest connects to the base using pins at each end, which need to click fully into place before use. We have the assembly instructions and video on the product page.

If the backrest doesn't stay in place during assembly, it's usually due to slight misalignment rather than a fault. If you're unsure or it continues, our support team will be happy to help.

Will the Model 04 Sofa Bed fit through a narrow hallway or up stairs?

The 2-box design means the longest piece is 195 cm - similar in length to a double mattress. The delivery team can unbox at the door and bring pieces in separately if needed. This is standard practice and access failures are rare.
