Swyft Model 02 Sofa Bed: The Spacious Statement

The Model 02 sofa is one of our all-time best-sellers, so it made sense to create a sofa bed version. With its sleek mid-century design and bolstered cushions, it’s a real statement sofa (that just so happens to turn into a comfy bed when you need it).

Size

Model 02 is a spacious 3-seater sofa that opens up to a UK standard double-sized bed. Measuring 207cm wide, 83cm high, and 91cm deep, it’s perfect for lounging. As a bed, it’s 135cm deep, giving guests plenty of space to stretch out.

Comfort

This isn’t your standard sofa bed, oh no. The Model 02 has a luxurious 7-inch thick mattress with 300 pocket springs. And with high-density dual-layered foam in the seat cushions, it’s big on comfort, whether you’re sitting up or lying down.

The Model 02 Sofa Bed has that classic mid-century modern vibe with its sleek lines and simple design. The legs are slim, the arms are narrow—it’s basically the definition of timeless style. If you're into retro or minimalism, you’ll love the Model 02. It’s perfect for bigger living rooms or guest rooms where you want elegance, without being too fussy.

Assembly

Model 02 takes just five minutes to set up. Simply screw on the legs, slot the back and sides into place, and pop on the cushions. To convert it into a bed, lift the bottom cushion, unzip the concealed legs, and pull out the base on the runner. Then flip down the back to form the double bed platform—easy!

Swyft Model 04 Sofa Bed: The Big Softie

Like the Model 02, the Model 04 is a 3-seater sofa that folds down to a full UK-sized double bed. It still has that mid-century vibe, but it’s a bit more plush. Honestly, you can hardly tell there’s a bed hiding in there. 

Size

At 208cm wide, 86cm high, and 94cm deep, the Model 04 is big enough for three people to sit comfortably. And when folded down, the bed has a roomy depth of 135cm. 

Comfort

The Model 04 comes with a 300-pocket sprung mattress, so you know your guests will sleep soundly. The arms are also removable, which can be handy if you happen to have very tall friends. And the cushions? They’re made from high-density foam for supportive lounging.

Style

Model 04 is a great option for those of you who love mid-century modern design but also like something with a bit more softness and volume. It works well in larger living rooms or spaces that want a focal point with comfort to match.

Assembly

The assembly process is so easy. Attach the legs, slot the back and sides into place and add the cushions. To convert it into a bed, simply lift the seat cushion, extend the legs and fold down the backrest. 

Swyft Model 08 Sofa Bed: The Space Saver

If you’re working with a smaller space, our Model 08 sofa beds are a little more compact than Model 02 and Model 04. But of course, they’re just as big on style and comfort.

Size

The Model 08 sofa bed comes in two sizes: the 2-seater and the 2.5-seater. 

The 2-seater version of the Model 08 is 158cm wide, 87cm high and 95cm deep. And when pulled out, the mattress has a depth of 195cm.

As for the 2.5-seater, believe it or not, this actually turns into a king-size bed with a mattress depth of 195cm too. The sofa itself is just a tad bigger than the 2-seater, with a width of 183cm, but still 87cm high and 95cm deep. 

Comfort

Each model has a thick foam mattress and fibre-filled cushions, for great comfort whether you’re sitting, sleeping or lying down to watch a movie, surrounded by your favourite snacks.

Is this the same design as the Model 08 sofa beds? Yes. Does it deserve its own paragraph? Also yes. Here, we shine a spotlight on the Model 08 chair bed. 

Size

Instead of a sofa, with a double or king-size bed, this is an armchair that becomes a UK standard single bed. In its chair form, it’s 103cm wide, 87cm high, and 95cm deep. As a bed, it’s 195cm long. 

Comfort

The Model 08 chair bed is just as comfy as its sofa siblings. You can expect the same foam mattress and fibre-filled cushions for no-compromise comfort.

Model 11 is simple and sleek (and our most affordable). It’s a 3-in-1 sofa, lounger and bed—perfect for people who love multi-functional furniture. 

Size

Model 11 has no armrests, so it maximises the space it has. It’s 193cm wide, 82cm high and 100cm deep. This surprisingly spacious sofa bed gives enough room for 3 people to sit (or lounge) comfortably and folds down to a small UK double with a bed depth of 121cm. 

Comfort

Model 11 has a 100% silicone fibre-filled mattress for added softness. But what makes it really special is the 3-position adjustable backrest, for sitting, reclining or sleeping.
