Bedding that washes at home. Coverless duvets, adjustable pillows, and bundles that cost less than buying the pieces one at a time.

Bedding that goes in your own machine

Most bedding is sold on how it looks. Everything here is built around the wash instead. After washing, the coverless duvets machine dry in 90 to 120 minutes. The pillow covers go in with the rest of the load. Nothing in this range needs a dry cleaner or a trip to the launderette.

Duvets, with or without the cover

Two routes. The coverless duvets have the design built into the duvet itself, so there is nothing separate to buy, stuff or wash, and they arrive with coordinating pillowcases. The Fine Bedding Co. Breathe duvet takes the traditional approach, with a cotton cover that moves moisture away and holds temperature steady, in 4.5 tog for summer and 10.5 tog for the rest of the year.

Pillows, and the case for a bundle

The Adjustable HoneyFoam pillow lets you set height and firmness yourself by adding or removing honeycomb foam clusters, and both its filling and its cover can be replaced rather than the whole pillow. The Breathe pillow partners the Breathe duvet, and taking the two together as a bundle knocks 10% off. Pillows and bundles each have their own page if you want to compare properly.

Hypoallergenic, and made from recycled bottles

Every filling in this range is hypoallergenic, which matters if you have been sleeping badly for reasons you never quite pinned down. The coverless duvets are filled with Smartfil®, a fibre made from 100% recycled PET bottles, and they are produced in a B Corp certified eco-factory in Estonia that runs on 100% renewable energy. Sustainability claims in bedding are usually vague. Those ones are specific.

Bedding FAQs

What bedding do I need for a new bed?

At minimum, a duvet and a pillow. A coverless duvet set covers the duvet and the pillowcases in one purchase, and a bundle covers the duvet and a pair of pillows. Sheets are the one thing you will need to source elsewhere.

Do you sell bed sheets or fitted sheets?

Not at the moment. The range covers duvets, pillows, and the pillowcases supplied with the coverless duvet sets.

Is this bedding suitable for allergies?

The fillings are hypoallergenic throughout, and everything here washes at home, which is the part that genuinely helps with dust. None of it is a medical product or a treatment for an allergy.

What is a tog rating, and which one do I need?

Tog is a measure of insulation rather than weight or thickness: the higher the number, the more heat it holds in. For most people 10.5 is the safe year-round choice, and 4.5 is worth having if the bedroom gets warm in summer. The duvet pages break it down size by size.

Is any of the bedding made from recycled materials?

Yes. The coverless duvets are filled with Smartfil®, made from 100% recycled PET bottles, and they are manufactured in a factory running entirely on renewable energy.
